Recommendation for updating your computer with a Windows Vista compatible solution

If you are planning to upgrade your system from Windows XP to Windows Vista, we recommend updating your Norton solution, if available, prior to upgrading your computer to Windows Vista. This will be the best way to ensure protection and improve the upgrade experience.

Which Symantec products will require an update to be compatible with Windows Vista?

Unless Windows Vista compatibility is stated on the box or product page, all Norton products made available prior to the release Windows Vista will need to be updated to support the Windows Vista operating system.

What if my Norton product isn’t listed?
Products that aren’t listed either don’t currently have a Windows Vista compatible version available or require an upgrade purchase.
